Summary: Getting stranded on a deserted island has to be some of the worst luck one can endure. Barely any food, hardly any water, and any possible company is either not going to last or wants you dead. And may God have mercy on you if it's the latter, and it isn't even human.

History: Recently, the careless youth Jennifer has found herself deserted on a tropical island after a vacation gone wrong. She gradually finds other similarly marooned people over time, but they aren't really good people. However, nothing compares to what lies beneath the water not too far from the island. Deep below, there is a pit of swirling sand and endless darkness. Living within it is a shark-like humanoid that comes onto the beaches at night to carry away victims to eat. Survival has become a whole lot harder for the castaways.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After being the last one standing, Jen decides to end it all by luring the monster into a fiery trap. She proceeds to stab it over and over until by the time the beast catches up to her, it falls over from blood loss. She cuts off its head for good measure.

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Anything conventional, though it takes a lot of hits. It also cannot stand fire.

Scariness Factor: 4-When your beast is introduced with a red flare illuminating its silhouette, you know you've made something worth fearing. We barely see this sea monster in full, but what we do see brings to mind the sort of thing that some islands would either worship as Gods or fear as demons. The sheer mystery of this thing's existence and its frankly unsettling physical appearance make it the worst island neighbor ever.

Trivia: -Jen's actress, Kiersey Clemons, ended up falling in love with her stunt double, Ebony de la Haye. Romance on the set is always wonderful, especially when it's the person who has your well-being in mind.

-This monster does share a few similarities with a mythological shark God in Fiji, where the movie was done. The God was Dakuwaqa, a being that was said to be able to become both human and any sea creature, primarily the shark, or even a man-shark hybrid. In the legends, it is said that he only became a protector of the islands when a Goddess that took the form of an octopus beat him in a fight and brought his ego down to Earth.
